WOW Gold
Guide
Introduction If you don’t have gold, you don’t have a chance to do anything
worthwhile in World of WarCraft. This might be considered something very harsh, but at the end of the day it
is nevertheless something that WOW maniacs know and newbies to the game tend to understand instinctively.
Without gold, you can’t buy materials or items. You can’t pay others for services and you really can’t do anything
that you need to do in order to get ahead in the game. That is why making gold should definitely be a high priority
when it comes to allocating time to the different parts of your game. While there are a limitless number of
strategies that people pursue when it comes to making gold, some of them are more mainstream than others.

Professions The most mainstream gold-making strategy out there would have to be the strategy
of going through professions in order to make gold. In other words, if you have a profession, you can use that
profession to make things to sell and get gold in return. If you are a fisherman, you can certainly fish and then
sell those fish at the auction house in order to make gold.
If you have a high skill in mining, you can mine a lot of ore and then either sell that ore or smelt it into bars
that can then also be sold. If you are a blacksmith, you can make and sell items. Overall, the same idea of making
and selling applies to all of the professions out there.
The professions are very noble pursuits and at the heart of what the game probably intended when they instituted
the gold system. Also, there is no limit to this particular gold-making strategy. You can fish for as long as you
want and ultimately catch a large load of fish that can then be sold to others.
The same is true for the other professions too. Unfortunately, this great strength is simultaneously the great
weakness. Many times, you are going to need to spend a lot of time grinding it out with the professions in order to
get the gold that you want. After awhile, it can get tedious and boring, two things that WOW should never become.
This is why many people will shy away from getting gold through professions relatively early in hopes of being able
to get gold in some other manner.
Killing Because World of WarCraft is at its heart a game where you go out and kill things,
it should be no surprise that you can make gold through indiscriminate killing. Enemies will drop ore, herbs and
other items when they have been killed. You can collect those items and then sell them in order to get the gold
that you need. There are programs out there that can help you calculate how to travel between different spawn
points in order to get there right when the enemies come back, effectively allowing you to farm gold to whatever
level you need. Many people prefer this to getting gold through the use of conventional professions. In the end, it
is really more about what you like than anything else.
